"Val, Valen for Christ sake, wake up!"
Opening my eyes, I lifted my head and stared up at the boy, Joshua.
I sat up and he gave me a small smile, "Moira just left. The guards came and took her. They said Jane's having her baby." He said quietly.

I stood quick and grabbed my boots, pulling them on. Laura laid in the small chair beside the bed and I shook her, "She's delivering." I said to her quietly.
Laura's eyes widened and she stood quickly pulling on her shoes and rushing me out the door.
We took the horses, riding toward the castle as fast as we possibly could.
I kept the small horn in my hand and as Laura proceeded to the back of the castle, I moved up to the forest edge.
