I watched in wonder as the vampires all bowed down to Thais, wondering briefly if they’d be so accepting of me as they were of her. Then again…this was just fifty vampires. There were thousands we’d have to convince, and I knew without a doubt that we’d have to get rid of her uncle and her cousin before they’d listen to her. These ones were barely able to understand, but being trapped in a small area, tired and frustrated from being forced to search for hours, they had listened. The next time won’t be this easy, of that I have no doubt. I looked around at the others, watching as Thais helped Ryan stand, the rest of the vampires and Louis and Lenny rising as well.
