Nothing went how it was supposed to go. We had plans to sneak in with Louis’s key. The walls would be empty, the stairs inside the walls would be empty, and the sewers would be filled with Louis’s people, the resistance. We’d meet up with his parents, talk to them, and go from there. We planned to sneak through the many tunnels to the castle and slip inside like Louis had always done for the years he was spying on them. We planned on bursting out of the servants' hall and sneaking into my uncle’s room, where he wouldn’t be able to call others or get help. Just me against him, as it should be. It was a fairly simple plan and sounded so easy, but Jareth said the best executed plans were the simple ones. However, nothing was going according to plan.
