Seeing Elena break down and cry like that in front of me was the most heartbreaking thing I had ever experienced. When she flew off in a panic I could somehow tell that whatever she had seen up there was horrifying. I ran as fast as I could following her and when I finally saw with my own eyes where the fire was coming from I felt weak at the knees. The sight was too horrible to see, I couldn't even imagine how Elena could have handled seeing all the dead bodies because I knew she had never seen any. For someone who had grown up locked in a castle, she was definitely making this better than I had imagined she would.
