NEIL'S POV
We didn't have to look back to know that the person that had spoken in that horrifying witch was a witch. I had been feeling like we were being followed from the moment we had entered the forest but now facing the person following us was even more terrifying than we thought it would be. The voice that had spoken had sounded so ghastly I almost jumped out of my skin when I heard it, the hairs on the back of my neck stood the very instant that I heard the voice and all I could think of was to pull Elena behind me as if that would offer her enough protection if this witch decided to attack us.
"We come in peace," I said as I felt this presence surround us but we still couldn't see the person who was speaking in such a terrifying voice
