NEIL’S POV
Jade finally released me and let me go to my hut, she also managed to convince me not to go home just yet, she reminded me that Elena’s death didn’t mean that my father would suddenly welcome me back into his arms especially if I didn’t give him Elena’s ashes which she knew I had. She was right, my father didn't care about me he only cared about the power that Elena's death would bring to him, and if I refused to give her washed he was certainly going to either kill me or imprison me. She also tried to convince me to get rid of the ashes but I made it clear to her that there was no way that I was throwing away the only thing that I knew would bring Elena back.
