ELENA'S POV
We were winning the fight but that didn't mean that our victory didn’t come with any casualties, a lot of witches died and a lot of other witches got injured in the fight. Neil’s main concern seemed to be to keep me safe even though I felt like that was very unnecessary, he was acting like I was incapable of defending myself and we both knew that wasn't the case, if anything, I was the one who was supposed to be protecting him.
It appeared that Alpha Antonio had planned his attack very well and paid close attention to detail, some wolves were solely fighting with the witches while the others were focused on capturing me. Neil worked as hard as he could to make sure that never happened and he often placed himself in danger all because he had sworn that he would keep me safe.
