I was so scared when I got back to the room because Elena looked like she was unconscious and she looked like she wasn't breathing at all, I tried calling for her but it didn’t help. She was just lying there and I was beginning to even think she was already dead as the oracle had predicted. The fact that the oracle had predicted that Elena would die during her heat was the reason why everything that happened made me wonder if this was the death that the oracle had been referring to.
The worst part in all of this was that I couldn’t even touch her to check if she was ok out of fear of my own safety, I wouldn't have been any good to her if I was also lying on the floor fighting for my life. One of us had to be strong enough to protect the other because we were both far from home
