When Elena and I first came to the witch lands the last thing that I could have expected was for me to be captured and kept in the dungeon while she was nowhere to be seen. I had expected her to be back by now but she still wasn't here and I hadn't heard anything else from her since the last time she had communicated with me and that made me wonder if she was okay. no matter how worried I got about her I often comforted myself by telling myself that if anything ever did happen to her I would certainly know because we were mates and I wouldn't have to live my life here wondering if she was ok.
