It's been a day since mom dropped the bombshell on all of us. And I've got to say they are nice people. I can see why mom wants to get to know them. She looks really happy being able to ask questions about her parents and get the answers she has always wanted. She looks like she is finally getting some closure.
Raya has also been enjoying her time here. She has been running around laughing with the other children her age. She is laughing now but she still hasn't said a word. Mom and dad said there is no rush. She has probably been through something traumatic and her choosing not to speak is like a safety net for her. Mom truly believes she will speak when she is ready. I also have to admit she is adorable, I can see why Rick got so attached to her yesterday.
