Oh thank the goddess. My leg's have been feeling like Jelly for a while now and I think they are finally ready to give way. Just when I was about to collapsed Rick wraps his arm around my waist to help support me standing up.
"Do we need to go meet him and my father somewhere?"
"No. As long as they don't get held up they should be here shortly."
I look over to Cedrick and of course I can't tell what he is thinking. He probably wouldn't tell me even if I'd asked. He can really hold a grudge.
My mom and Cedrick walk over to the other side of the room. I can't tell if my mom want's to talk to Cedrick alone or if she is giving me and Rick some space. Whatever all I care about is Julie is alive. I feel like I can start to breathe again.
"Are you alright love?"
