Writing the 5E novels and stories was a grand adventure.
But it feels as if I’ve completed that journey.
It’s a curious sensation as a writer to say goodbye to a series. Yet somehow, it’s simply time.
I had considered continuing these tales, but that concept of the diamond-in-the-rough and the evolution of a person and a team led me in a whole new direction—my Miranda Chase action-adventure thrillers.
This happened in part before I noticed that the 5E stories, and especially the 5E novels, were at least as reliant on the action as the romance. I had started out with the romance being way at the front, but that had slowly shifted for me and I think that the Night Stalkers 5E were the pinnacle of that shift.
