Carina I try to breathe through it, try to not think about the fact that my stomach is pulling tight as the contraction washes over me. I didn't say a word to anyone as we were getting ready, just forced myself to smile through the pain and then enjoy the moments in-between when there is no pain. By the time we make it to the door of the church, I struggle to walk, but I push through because there is no way in hell I am telling everyone that the wedding is canceled on the day of the wedding. Besides, my doctor said it might take a few hours and I should just keep timing my contractions.
