Jaxon Five hours, we have been standing here, listening to the beat of Carina's heart. The doctor told us that it might take a few hours or maybe minutes, but there is very little chance that she will make it past that. Still, we all stayed, holding hands and sending up constant prayers as we listened. I refuse to look up, my neck already hurting but I can't force myself to look at her as she gives her last breaths.
