Mia POV When I wake up, my head has pressure equivalent to a soda pop after it has been shaken like a maraca. I start to panic, waking up in a room that looks to be right out of a movie. The natural wooden floors contrast nicely with the glass windows that reach from the ceiling to the floor. Sunlight filters through them, casting artsy patterns all around and offering me a gorgeous view of the outdoor pool. My heart pounds in my chest, my mind still lost on where I am. I sit up and the sudden movement causes a ripping pain to radiate from my thigh. An involuntary yelp leaves me, echoing through the room.
