"Alpha?" I looked up to see Lucy in the doorway of my office.
I smiled at my favorite little kid.
"Yes Lucy?"
"Can I come in?" She asked.
"Of course you can sweetie." I put the paperwork I was filling out down. "Come on. Shut the door, and have a seat."
Lucy gave me a wide grin as she shut the door, and sat on the other side of my desk. Her little legs dangled in the air, and I had to fight down a laugh.
"Are you happy to be home for the weekend?" I asked her.
Lucy and the other kids have been at the Anderson school for over a month now. Thankfully, they weren't here for the attack almost a month ago. They come home every weekend. Apparently, they like it a lot considering only Lucy came home this time. I'm extremely happy they love it there. They still keep in contact with me.
