Annalease found herself in hers and Moon's special place. She saw Moon laying by the creek under the tree covered in blood. Her white fur was now red. Annalease ran over to her as pain swept through her as well. She collapsed on to the ground beside Moon. When Annalease opened her eyes again she and Moon both were laying with their heads in her father's lap. He was crying as he held both of them. Annalease hurt everywhere and it was hard to move anything. Her insides felt raw and excruciating. But she knew Moon hurt even worse so as painful as it was she tried to raise her arm to wrap around Moon. As she raised her arm though it fell from the pain. Tears fell from Annalease's eyes.
