Richard and Helen were up early planning the day. Today was the day Jason was to attack. The warriors were put on guard and security was tightened quietly so no one other than them and the warriors would notice. Richard would wait for the call to make the announcement to the pack about the expected attack and get everyone in the safe rooms. Helen went quietly to the rooms making sure they were all clean and stocked. She told the Omegas helping her stock the rooms that it was routine to check and restock the rooms every few months. Which technically it was, but the time hadn't come yet for the routine checks but they didn't know any difference. Everything was going well and everyone was going about their normal day.
