In the Spencer suite, Jessica was now left alone with Mike. She could not help being nervous because Mike was acting very strange and decided to pretend to be sleeping.
“Jess, I know you are awake. I can feel you thinking” Mike said coming to sit next to her bed.
“That’s impossible” she responded, opening her eyes.
Mike looked at her with the same tenderness he had when she woke up “Pearl is okay and safe. Benny and Cindy have been with her the past two days. She has been asking about you a lot and giving them hell. You can video chat with her later” he informed her, knowing that she was worried.
“Thank you” Jessica was grateful that he told her all of that without her having to ask. She had no doubt that Mike had Pearl taken good care of, it was still good to hear it.
