The flight was eight hours, and we landed at ten in the morning in Merida. I tried to rest on the plane, but it was uncomfortable and my nerves were on edge, wanting this mission to be successful. The men loaded up into the buses that were waiting for them and the generals and I got into the Humvee. The drive to Francisco Escarcega took over four hours and when we arrived, we headed straight to our campsite outside of the town.
While everything was being set up, I used the satellite phone to call Piper. She did not answer, so I figured she was still in school. I will try again later when we get everything set up here.
“Your Grace, would you like me to take you into town to get a hotel for a few days, so you could be more comfortable?” Hubert asked me.
“If you and my men have to sleep out here, then I will be here with the rest of you. What kind of leader would I be to let all of you suffer without the comforts of home while I relax in a comfortable bed and running water? No, I will stay here,” I explained to him. Plus, I can be closer here, so we could go over our plans and interact with my men. I love to go around and talk to them, get to know, and see how their families are doing. It makes my men more comfortable with me around and be able to trust me better when we are out in the field.
“Very well, Your Grace. We will set your tent up over there, next to mine and Isban’s.” He bowed and walked away, ordering some men to get my tent set up. I went over to help them, as it was mine to sleep in. An hour later, the camp was ready, and dinner was being served. I sat in front of my tent, looking over the reports and maps, making sure that our plans were concrete and fool-proof this time. Our scouts sent up drones and got pictures of the camp and sent them back to us, so we knew where everything was.
“Your Grace, come and eat. You need to your strength for tomorrow night,” one of my guards told me.
“I will in a few minutes. I am just going over the intel I have here.”
“Sir, I am not trying to tell you what to do, but you look exhausted. We all had a long flight and a four-and-a-half-hour drive here. You need to relax and eat,” he told me. He is right, I am exhausted from no sleep and the travel. I nodded my head and put the paperwork down onto my makeshift desk and joined the men for dinner.
It was an enjoyable dinner, with the ribbing they were doing with each other and talking about the accomplishments their children were doing at home. I wish I could join in with their conversation, perhaps some day when Piper and I have a family.
After dinner, I was too relaxed from hanging out with the men, and I was exhausted. My guards stood outside my tent as I went to lie down for a couple of hours.
With a few hours of sleep, I felt refreshed when I woke up, and I got up to meet with the generals. We discussed on how we would approach the camp, take out the guards on the outskirts, and then take them out one by one. I was hoping we could get in quietly and take each out before getting to the main tent and capture their leader. I went to bed early to be well-rested for the attack.
That morning, the air was tense, as everyone was nervous about the attack. We wanted to get the leader of the hunters and make our families safe from danger. There was less joking and talking and more concentration on getting our weapons ready, bags packed, and talking to their families one more time before we leave. Some took solstice in reflection and strength with the attack, and others just sat by themselves, trying to calm their nerves.
After dinner, we loaded up our gear and trekked the ten miles to the camp. It was around midnight when we arrived and it was quiet. Isban found the scout, and they gave us the report that everything has been quiet and it has been a normal of a routine evening for them. We successfully avoided alerting them to our impending attack this time, and hopefully, we can end this once and for all.
We split up and surrounded the camp and took out the guards that were on the outskirts, one by one. Once they were subdued, Isban and Hubert’s squads moved into the camp quietly, taking out each bunkhouse. When it was clear, my squad went into the camp and everyone surrounded the leader’s house. Isban nodded his head, and we sneaked into the house. There was no one in there! She got away again! Just as we turned around to head back outside, we heard yelling and gun shots. They have another group hidden in the forest! We were going to run out to help the men when a grenade rolled into the house and exploded. It was a stun grenade. It knocked the both of us to the ground, hindering us from doing anything. After a few minutes, a woman and a few men entered. She was tall and fit, with long blonde hair that was pulled back into a ponytail, and wearing a black armor bodysuit. She kneeled down next to me.
“Well, well, look at who we have here. The king of demons, Leofric Wittelsbach. I knew you were coming, and I figured it was time I introduced myself to you,” she smiled, running her finger down the side of my face. “My name is Celeste Louvet, and I am the general of these hunters.” She nodded towards her guards and they came and picked me up. She walked up to me, checking me out. “What a fine specimen you are. I might actually keep you as my pet, after I decimate your people and go after your little wolf lover and her pack.” I tried to lunge at her, threatening Piper, her family, and her home. Celeste laughed. “Did I hit a nerve? The little wolf girl must mean something to you. That means it will be so much fun to torture and kill her in front of you. Maybe I will make her watch as I use you as my boy toy and f**k you in front of her, perhaps forcing her to claim you so she will be in excruciating pain to where it could kill her.” She walked up to me and grabbed my c**k. She smiled.
“Well endowed, too. Bigger than the one I have now. Take him to my Humvee and we will take him back to our main compound. Make sure he wears a hood, so he doesn’t know where he is going and put the amulet on him, so he doesn’t use any of his powers.” The men nodded and led me out of the tent, with her following close behind. I looked around and saw the horror of all of my men dead, lying around the camp. “Oh, don’t worry, we will leave your men for the jungle animals; they are abominations and deserve no burial ceremony.” She laughed and got into her Humvee. Her guards threw me in and got into the vehicle with us. Someone placed a hood over my head. I have no means of knowing where we are going or get a hold of Piper.
