He shifted through the papers in his office, trying to sort out his desk as well as the files and contracts of his clientele.  Maverick had gone through all of five assistants since Stevie quit and none were even close to being as meticulous and skilled as she was. Maybe Maverick was just being biased but that didn't really matter to him because he missed Stevie so much that he didn't care. Frustration began to grip the best of Maverick the more he thought about what he'd lost in losing Stevie as his secretary.
