It took another three days before Stevie was well enough to leave the hospital. Unfortunately, the mixed emotions of seeing her parents and her cousins overwhelmed her a little. Or at least that was what the Dr. Blake insisted.
In truth, Stevie personally felt that it neither had anything to do with the visit of her family. Sure, the conversation between she and her parents were a little inconvenient or stressful at times and her heart to heart with Stefano was a little confrontational which did heightened her blood pressure. However, somehow, Stevie didn't assume them to culprit to her drawback in health. It wasn't them at all...or maybe it was, but all that Stevie knew was that not seeing Maverick did nothing to help the situation.
