Maverick and his mother Jean, burst through the hospital doors, frantically looking for anyone that could tell him where Stevie was located.
"Where is she?!" Maverick bellowed in a concern that was easily mistaken as frustration with the determination to find Stevie added to his tone. "Where's Stevie?!"
At this point, he was speaking to no one in particularly and when no one answered, he'd suddenly become unreasonably angry. Jean grabbed him immediately and forced him to look into her eyes. She grabbed his faced.
"You have to calm down, sweetheart. Calm down," She said in a gentle voice. "We will find her, I promise. But you have to calm down."
