It should have been a humiliating moment. Canon’s pants didn’t even begin to fit me, so I walked into that ballroom in nothing but Canon’s shirt and his wolf by my side. The music stopped, and all eyes swung our way. Nico and Knox walked toward me, and they each took one of my hands. I could tell that Canon was speaking to them through their bonds, and Knox turned to the crowd.
“Talon, Alpha of the Alder Fang Pack, has been charged with the attacks of three packs in the last two days and the murder of six wolves. He has also been charged with the extreme abuse and attempted murder of his previous omega. As the high alpha of that omega’s current pack and her mate, Canon will be taking the right to a challenge. Talon and his alphas will be executed tonight. All are invited to watch.”
