Cassie’s POV
I hurried out of the classroom after our lesson, the teacher had forced us to stay back an extra ten minutes due to the issue with Wade so the corridor’s were almost deserted by the time I ran to the cafeteria.
I needed to find Wade, he was obviously hurting and I couldn’t see how he really meant to hurt me, it must have been an accident, it had to be!
Racing into the cafeteria I was surprised to find only half a dozen people inside, usually the place was packed with students. Outside I could hear cheering and goading, a sense of panic rose in my chest as I pushed through the doors and out into the cold.
