It was around nine o'clock when the two love birds lazily dragged themselves from the bed, they had slept late, spent sometime watching a certain series
" Morning babe" Adrian greeted Lisa his voice still husky
" Morning sleepyhead" Lisa answered as she threw the duvet away and stepped out of the bed
" Now who is the sleepy head here and yet we both just woke up now?"
" You are the sleepyhead, I woke up before you but was just staring at your ugly face"
" Ugly face you say and you fall for it just say my handsome sleepy face"
" Ooh get over yourself young man you're as ugly as you" Lisa replied back to him and they both started laughing
Lisa changed and started walking towards the adjacent bathroom before Adrian stopped her
" Hey babe"
" Yeah what's up?"
" Wait up for me I need to shower too"
" You know well if we shower together we will take eternity, let me just get done then you can shower afterwards"
" No I want to shower with you who knows maybe this is the last time before we resume school"
" Okay okay you win, hurry up I'm getting late I need to pass by my house and move them here"
" I'll accompany you, I have nothing more to do"
" Ooh how sweet of you thanks" Lisa said
" Anytime pretty face now let's get this done"
" Ooh yeah sure"
They took half an hour and were both done.
Lisa went to the kitchen , made breakfast for two and they took silently.
They had agreed on staying together to save and reduce the cost.
The money Lisa used for rent will be saved to cater for a small business they both wanted to invest in.
It was a good idea and no doubt Lisa knew she had found someone with a dream Future.
They moved her things into his house.
By the time they were both done, they were exhausted.
They ordered for a takeaway lunch since we're both tired.
Lisa had sold her bed on a second hand market store and Adrian suggested she use the money for something else since he provided everything in the house.
Lisa decided to buy Adrian shoes as a gift he had been wanting to buy it and so she opted to surprise him once they went out for shopping with Lydia.
Speaking of Lydia, she was supposed to be there any minute.
After lunch they plopped themselves on the couch and started watching.
Just then Lisa's phone vibrated and she knew it was Lydia.
She was already in town so Lisa put on her shoes and went to town to meet her.
Lydia was the first to spot Lisa she run up to her and gave her a mighty and tight hug
" Hey sweetheart I missed you, look at you all grown, beautiful and glowing"
" So are you, how you anyway, it's been long, let's get going"
" Ooh yeah I'm good actually I had missed this b***h over here"
" You never cease to amaze me Lydia the same same Lydia I knew twenty years ago" Lisa said as she helped her with her bag.
" And by the way we need to get you something to eat, we've not cooked and that will take a while,what will you take?" Lisa asked
" You know I love chips "
" Yeah I do and there's some yoghurt in the fridge, your favourite flavor by the way"
"Wait you mean you bought a fridge already"
" No come on ,it's Adrian's we moved in together"
" Wow I can see my girl is happy,I hope he's treating you well and he's cute too, you didn't send me his pic like you promised"
" Well I forgot plus I left him in the house, you going to meet him"
" Wow I can't wait to set my eyes on that prince charming I bet he's freaking hot"
" And excuse me horny b***h, he's my guy and out of bounds" Lisa said while laughing
" And what if we share, we've been besties like forever so sharing ain't no big deal" Lydia said jokingly
" No we ain't sharing him, if I find you ogling over him, I'll snap that neck off your head"
" Ouch I was kidding girl"
They took a motorbike to Adrian's place and within a few minutes, they were at Adrian's door"
Lisa opened and called Adrian , he was not in the living room.
" Babe I'm back"
" Already, I'm coming"
" Make yourself comfortable, I'll take your bag in the room" Lisa said to Lydia and she walked into the guest room
Both Adrian and Lisa emerged from the rooms and met midway.
" Babe this is Lydia, childhood friend, and best friend, Lydia meet Adrian my boyfriend.
"It's nice to finally meet you Lydia, feel at home"
" Nice to meet you too Adrian, I've heard a lot about you"
" Good things about me I guess"
"Obviously ,thank you "
" No problem anytime"
" You girls have a good time, I'm gonna be busy in the room" Adrian said to them, pecked Lisa on the cheeks and left for his room.
They chatted for a while before they started to prepare themselves
" Babe we going out with Lydia,I'll be back later "
" Don't drink too much, I'll come to pick you up in case of anything but please be careful"
" I will love,but don't bother yourself too much,,we can take care of ourselves"
" I just want you safe okay?"
" Okay babe bye"
She gave him a brief kiss on his lips before they headed out with Lydia.
Club 254 was not far from Adrian's place,after a few minutes they both walked into the club.
They settled on a table for two at the furthest end of the club.
They ordered for their drinks and started by drinking while enjoying the slow music on the background.
" I've missed this feeling" Lydia shouted at Lisa over the now loud music
" Me too"
Before Lisa could finish the sentence she noticed familiar figures entering the club and she cursed loudly
" What the hell!"
" What is it?" Lydia asked rather alarmed.
" Look at who's entering on the doorway"
Lydia's eyes shifted to the door and she spotted him
" I'm going to approach them"
" Wait Lydia" it was too late for Lisa because Lydia was already on her feet to go approach the couple that just entered the club
