Run all errands, including personal ones.

Be available 24/7 for sudden tasks.
Answer his calls immediately, no matter the time.
Maintain “obedience and efficiency.”
Obedience?
My breath shook. I flipped to the next page. The list continued:
Review contracts at his request.
Meet with vendors on his behalf.
Never question his instructions.
Never refuse a task.
Never leave without his permission.
Never refuse.
My vision blurred for a second. I blinked quickly, forcing myself back. I couldn’t show weakness in front of him. Not here. Not when he was watching me so closely.
