"What I'm trying to say, Javier is that...your brothers Miguel and Manuel aren't dead like you thought they were"
I say while shaking my head slightly.
"No, they're very much alive"
I tell Javier who looked at me like I was an alien from Mars.
"What did you just say to me, Adrianna?"
"You heard me, Javier, I said your brothers are still alive"
Javier backed up away from me which hurt me deeply but so did the look on his face, he looked like he wanted to kill me but I knew he wouldn't or at least, I hoped he wouldn't.
"This s**t isn't funny, Addy"
"Do you see me laughing?"
I ask calmly.
"Also, do you really think I'd make a joke about something like this? or do you honestly think I'd say it if it wasn't true?"
