I was disappointed when Michael's mother said I couldn't sleep in his bedroom. I was looking forward to spending some alone time with him, but now I was out here bunking with Melody while he was stuck with my brother.
Maybe I will sneak into his room tonight, I thought.
If I'm careful enough, Jacob won't notice.
After everyone went to bed, I quietly walked toward Michael's bedroom. The house was dark and quiet, so I had to be extra careful. I tiptoed to his room and pushed the door open.
I had to adjust my eyes because I couldn't see anything in the dark.
I knew Jacob was sleeping on the ground and Michael on his bed, so all I had to do was to walk around him carefully. Jacob slept like the dead, so I'm sure he wouldn't wake up.
