Two months have passed, dad and Emmett has been getting along well if I have to say so myself. That doesn’t mean that dad still isn’t skeptic about him.
Once a week we have a kind of family dinner either at our place or Emmett’s. Emmett has been nothing short of the Prince Charming.
He takes me on dates when I have time off from the hospital, sends flowers and gifts to my work even though I told him he doesn’t need to do those things he still does them.
Almost like he used to do at school. His the most tentative man ever, in the back of my mind I’m still waiting for the other shoe to drop you know?
Wondering when it will all change and he goes back to being who he used to be but that side of him seems to be buried, at least I hope so.
We have set the wedding for a year
