I couldn’t believe how unapologetic Ruth was about everything that she had done. it was as if she lacked self-awareness and she didn’t see what role she had played in this mess. She could see that what she had done had hurt me and yet she could look me in the eye and act like my pain meant nothing. Like our bond as siblings never meant anything to her. She didn’t give a damn about how I felt she only cared about how she had been wronged and how much she wanted to avenge herself.
She didn’t care if I was hurt as long as she got what she wanted and she wanted the throne.
