Chapter Six

Samara POV

I had the same dream as I have being getting for as long as I can remember the dream of Zahara. Normally in my dreams there’s no audio but this time around I can hear everything.

All those years I could see her lips moving but I could not make out what she was saying, but now I can hear her voice… it is so melodically beautiful, I paid attention to her lips and saw that they moved the same way they do every night. She was actually singing for me all this time and I couldn’t hear her but what always put me at ease was the fact that the baby me was smiling at her.

The lady in yellow dress with black hair so silk that flows gracefully to her waist was singing ‘isn’t she lovely’ lullaby to her baby girl

Isn’t she lovely?

Isn’t she wonderful?

Isn’t she precious?

Less than one minute old

I never thought through love we’d be

Making one as lovely as she

But isn’t she lovely made from love

Isn’t she pretty?

“You know Pearly your grandfather use to sing this song every time when I couldn’t sleep...” she said hugging the infant

“One day you are going to do wonders my little Gem.”

I can’t believe it all this time she was singing for me and praising me, she truly has a beautiful voice.

I woke up quiet early since it was Monday and knowing that I probably have duties and places to be. i decided to go for an early ride, it’s been a while since I went to the horses stable or even took my horse for the morning run. I had Flame since he was just a pony, and he was a chestnut horse “Hey buddy, want to go for a little spin around?” he let out a neigh sound “I knew you will be too fond to it”

I prepare him for a ride as soon and I was done I climbed on top and took off, we got at the top of the hill and just admired the kingdom, at this moment I felt like I am Simba and looking at prime rock with nothing but pride. My home. My kingdom. My city….

It just sunk in that now I won’t be doing all this anymore; I won’t get this morning ride to have this beautiful view of my beloved kingdom. Will my new home be this peaceful like this one? Will I make a difference there? I didn’t know I was crying until I felt tears willing down my cheeks.

“I have never thought this day will ever come seeing my own little warrior crying like this!” I turn around and saw my father with his horse standing behind me.

“Dad what are you doing here?” I asked him and he just gave me a smile while wiping my tears.

“The last time you cried like this was when your mother refused to let you learn how to fight” he moved to look at the view in front of us and said “You know why I always bought you and your brother here every morning when we went on a horse riding?”

I shook my head and walked to stand beside him; I also look ahead and admired the view.

“I bought the two of you here for nothing but this moment, the view in the morning when the sunrises, to watch as the new day start with new opportunities and new hope. I know you’re scared sweetheart but if there’s anyone that can do it that person is you.”

“I don’t know why you want to do it but I do know that the reasoning you gave us is not the really reason you doing this, but all I know is you can conquer any battle and you are the daughter of James White, my little warrior princess”

I started crying hugging my father and said “I also don’t know why I agreed but I feel like this is what I was meant to do Daddy.”

We stayed quiet for some time until dad said “We better head back home, we are expecting your soon to be husband for breakfast this morning and your mother need you to be on point at the breakfast table”

“Okay, race you back home” I said climbing on flame’s back and started racing back to the castle.

On our arrival to the castle I walked straight to my room from the stables and took a shower and did my usual routine once I was done I saw that my outfit for the day was a suit pink skirt with pink blazer with a white top. Arggg… I should really have a talk with mother and Maria about this pinky pinky choice of clothing.

I walked towards the dining room and I can hear people’s voices from the room, when I walked inside the first thing that caught my eyes were the ocean blue eyes that were staring at me and I could help but eye my future husband; he truly is a handsome king.

 I couldn’t help but drool over his well build body and how his lips move I can’t wait to taste those perfectly lips,,, before I even went any further about admiring the god that is standing before me in a form of a men I heard my mother’s voice then realised that I just embarrassed myself s**t

I cleared my throat and greeted everyone and gushed for him to take his seat.

The rest of breakfast went well except for the parts were Moon will just give me flashes of erotic dirty images of the king and I…

I heard someone clear they throat and I look towards the source and saw that it was my father I gave him a questioning look and he moved his eyes to king Knight.

“Samara, maybe you should take the king on a tour of the castle now that breakfast is over? You always loved to give our guest a historical tour right?” said my mother

“I don’t think his inter-…” I was interrupted by a deep voice across me

“I would love to tour the castle with you, I mean if you don’t mind.”

I just nodded and stood up from my chair and we started to tour the castle once we were done with the inside; which I only showed him the important rooms only we walked to the garden, we had small talks here and there and I did most of the talking since well I love to talk about the beauty of my home and once we were done he said that he has to go back to his hotel.

He asked me to dine with him in the evening and I agreed and told him my personal assistant will get in touch with his bodyguard with the details.

“Well this is something new…” I turn around towards the voice only to come in contact with Edward. “Why are you looking at me like that?” he asked descending the stairs.

“How am I looking at you baby brother?” I asked him while walking to the gazebo and took a seat on the branch and he took a seat next to me and said “You looking at me like you expecting a scold from me!”

I shook my head and decided to tell him about my dream. “Last night she was singing a lullaby to me.” I looked at my brother biting my lower lips and I can see that he was puzzled by my statement.

“Did you have a nightmare again and mom came to your room and sing for you?”

“No Ed, Zahara was the one that was singing to me.”

He choked and cleared his throat and looked at me in disbelief and said “You heard what she was saying? I thought you can only see her lips moving and you couldn’t hear what she is saying…”

“Last night I heard her Ed and her voice is so beautiful”

“mmhmm…that’s a start of a beautiful day then, to think the news of my sister getting married in less than two weeks were going to be the highlight of the day but now I guess this news take the trophy.”

I just nodded and saw dad walking out of the castle with his secretary on his tail, Edward stood up and peck my forehead and said “I am heading out to the parliament with dad, the news of your marriage to king Knight well be announced today there. I will see you later big sis.”

“Okay have a lovely day my little one.”

Once they took off I walked back to the castle and took out my hat and told Lucy to prepare a car for me. Since Rumi is busy with one of my off site task I decided to get Lucy to be my assistant in the meantime.

Steve drove to the orphanage home, since I cancelled on them yesterday I saw that it is only right that I make it up to the kids and show up today.

“Samara we are not talking to you anymore?” said little Lily the moment I walked inside the play room

I held my chest in a dramatic manner and make a sad voice “Ohhh princess Lily why is that? I thought you and I are best friends for live” Lily is the 6 years old girl that I fall in love with her the moment she came to here when she was just a baby.

“Well that was before you stood us all up yesterday” she said while sucking her thumb, she looks so cute.

“I see, so now I came to ask for you and everyone’s forgiveness. Will you forgive me my little flower?”

“Let me think about it?” she said frowning acting like she is in deep thoughts the I signal Steven to give her a lollipop and her eyes twinkled the moment she saw it.

“Wow…okay since Uncle Steve got my Lolli then I forgive you.

Theodore POV

The King invited me to have breakfast with them this morning and my wolf and I were nothing but trilled with the invite, the last time i saw my mate she was looking at me with a murderous stare when she agreed to marry me; since yester morning when I left her castle Hunter has been mad at me for upsetting our beautiful mate.

I never actually expected that this family will welcome me after a threated to go to war with them, they truly are the peaceful family, no wonder they have such a beautiful goddess as a daughter.

“Good morning King and Queen White”

I just saw the queen nod with a slight smile, I can tell she is still not pleased with me and now what she has is a political face. While the king has the same expression but gave an ease atmosphere; he gushed to the young man next to him and introduce me to him.

“Good morning King Knight. Allow me to introduce you to my son Edward.”

I extended my hand and shook it with him. “Pleasure to meet you Prince Edward”

“Like wise King Knight” he said giving me a mischievous look.

We took our seat and i could help but wonder where my mate was, before I even voiced it out the Queen took an initiative to answer my thoughts.”

“Samara is getting ready; she will be down in a moment. She just got back from her morning ride.” She said eyeing me

“Morning ride?” I asked since I didn’t understand

“Horse riding; she only does that when she wants to think or plans to kill someone” said the Prince with a smug

I nodded my head in understanding.” I didn’t know that she love horses!”

“Well my daughter is many thing and riding horses is one of them!” this time said the Queen. Wow this woman really hates me.

“Well do you blame her you threated to start a war with them and her only daughter is getting married? You better apologies to them and mate as soon as possible, I am not going to become my in laws’ enemy and have my mate hate me for the rest of my life!” came Hunter’s voice

“I am serious human; I am not going to live in an unhappy marriage because of your weak, stupid and stubborn punkass all because of you.”

Before I got a chance to answer him, I smelt my mate and I stared at the door and my goodness there she was in her glory.

We made eye contact and I just got lost in her… I didn’t even realise that I was staring at her until I heard her talk.

The rest of the breakfast was quiet, once we were done I heard the Queen suggest that mate gives me a tour around the castle; she was about to refuse and I interrupted her.

She gave me a stare and signed. At least she’s cute with every facial expression she gives me. All throughout the tour I was just listening to her melodic voice how sweet I was and by the way she was tell me about the history of every piece of paint and any historical item in and outside the castle I can tell she is proud of her home and history. I could help but just picture her learning of my kingdom and its history.

I guess she loves history and art also apart from horse riding.

It was time for me to leave and I just didn’t want to leave yet, but I have to visit Jakob’s pack today and have a conference call with ministers of the parliament to inform them that I am getting married to the Princess, this old people will finally leave me alone and stop trying to persuade me to marry their daughters and granddaughters.

“Princess Samara, would you mind if we have dinner just the two of us this evening?”

I saw her frown her forehead and I was so scared that she will reject my proposal. “Apologies already Theo before she reject us!” Hunter said sounding so desperate.

She looked at me and said that her assistant will be in touch with my bodyguard. I nodded and retreated; I got in the driver’s seat and watched her through the mirror.

“You weak asshole why didn’t you apologies to mate?” asked Hunter

“Hunter will you relax? Why do you think I asked her out tonight? I asked her to dine with us so that I can apologies to her formally.”

“Okay fine and you better not blow it; I don’t like to see her upset”

Once I got to the hotel I asked the hotel manager to reserve the hotel restaurant for me and prepare a table for two.

I told him my second in command will send the menu that I want for the dishes the chef must prepare.

Ben and I are finally visiting Crescent moon pack, to tell the truth I am not excited to go there I just want to be at the hotel and see for it that the restaurant is turned in to the perfect place for my first ever date with my love.

I simply can’t wait for tonight, never mind about tonight I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her; and start a family together.

“How did the video conference go with the elders and ministers?”

“With the elders it went well and with the ministers I don’t know and to tell the truth I am not in the mood to listen to them!”

“I see… Ahh before I forget, I searched the midnight hunters out and I don’t think they’re werewolves. They must be hunters like their names say because their way of dealings is with weapon and military ones. And the one that stand out is that once they are done with killing they leave the weapon they used behind.” He paused and gave me a file

“This is the report of Thursday night, they used a sword and see how the sword is left. I thought they’re sending a message but when I went to the Old man’s pack and showed him the picture he said that it is they significant belief to honour the fallen, they live the weapon for remembrance.”

“Did you ask him about this mysterious guy that only show up only when his needed?”

“Not at all, but he said that he will show up sooner or later, since rouges came back to the Kingdom. Like his daughter said they only appear when they’re needed the most, the last time they were around was when the vampires invaded the Kingdom and once they dealt with them they also disappeared and showed up again now when this rouges showed up.”

I just kept quiet after listen to him. These hunters seem to be well trained and seem interesting.

“I guess we have to question Jakob about them since well I have a hunch that he knows more about what is letting on.” I said as soon as the Crescent pack came to view.

“This is interesting…” came Ben’s voice

We were led to the pack house by guards on their wolf form as soon as we were at the board.

As soon as I got out of the car the wolves that showed us the way they bowed their heads and saw Jakob and his mate standing outside the packhouse door.

“Your Majesty” they bowed their heads with everyone standing next to them

“Alpha Jakob and Luna Ava” I greeted them

“Your majesty allow me to introduce you to my beta Liam and the beta female Kate, that’s my gamma Jafar and my Head warrior Charity.” Jakob finished and nodded to me

 I was surprise when his said that the lady next to his gamma was his head warrior

“Female Head warrior this is a first.” I said looking at her “When is training I would like to see you fight?” I asked her and she seem proud and stood straight and answered “Training ended around half past 6 in the morning your majesty”

“I guess I will come tomorrow morning for a dual with you then!”

She didn’t answer but just gave a nod.

We had lunch and Jakob and I moved to his study once we were done. I saw a picture of old couple hang on the wall and he saw me looking at it and said

 “I am sorry that my parents are not here to welcome you, they went on vacation Friday morning and they will only be back after a month. But my father told me to give you this, he said it belong to your father.”

He said giving me a rectangle box; I opened it only to see a picture of my dad and Jakob’s dad under the picture was a knife that has my father’s name Jakob’s dad’s name, I look at him and saw him holding a similar knife also and I just smiled at him.

“Your father is Abraham?” I asked him and he just nodded

“My father use to tell me stories of how him and your father met.” I said looking up at the picture at the wall

“He would like to talk to you.” He said gesturing to his computer “You will call me once you are done with him.” I just nodded to him and he walked out of the door

I moved in front of the screen and took a seat on jakob’s chair.

“Alpha Corner” I greeted him and he just smiled at me

“I never thought I will ever see Richard, but looking at you right now not only am I seeing your father in you but also your mother.”

“When Jakob told me that you are at United Kingdom I wanted to take the first plane back home to meet you. I hope your father told you about the knife?”

“Yes he told me the story behind it.” I said letting out a chuckle and nodding continuously.

“Well I don’t want to keep you long, I heard that we are soon about to get a Luna Queen; you must be busy but as soon as my vacation is over I will visit Slovakie to sit down with you.”

“Thank you alpha Corner, I will really appreciate that.”

“Take care for now and take care of the soon to be Queen.” He gave me a wink and I couldn’t help but laugh, this old man remind me so much of my dad no wander they were friends.

Jakob came back in shortly I was done.

“What can you tell me about the hunters?” I asked him eyeing with raised eyebrows

He swallowed hard and took a deep breath and took a seat in front of me

“The Hunters are just a mystery; they come when they want to and leave when they want to.”

“You wouldn’t lie to your king would you?”

“No Alpha, and one day you will meet the leader but not now; I heard that they are searching for the Moon goddess stone.”

“But that’s just a myth, the stone doesn’t exist!”

“Actually the stone does exist according to Sally our pack oracle.”

“Can I meet her?”

“Because if this stone does exist then a war is coming and I need to know what I am dealing with. The Alpha of Blood moon pack wants that stone and knowing how power hungry he is, I can already imagine what chaos he will bring to the world.”

He stood up and led the way outside. The two of us walked in silence and the cabin in the middle of the forest came to view. “I can’t go in with you” I nodded and continue to walk to the front of the cabin and knocked

The door opened on its own…wow what a Halloween hunted house. I walked in and saw no one in side and was about to walked out until I heard a voice behind me.

“You came too early son of Richard.”

I turn only to come in contacted with a blind old woman.

I was about to ask her how she knew who I am but she beat me to it

“is the question of how I know who you are really what you seek? Or you came to seek answers of the moon goddess stone?”

“I want to know about the stone!”

“Take your seat young king!”

“TO THOSE WHO SEEK THE STONE FOR GOOD DEEDS WILL BRING PEACE AMONG ALL RACES AND WILL RULE FOR A LIFE TIME WITH GREAT POWER AND WISDOM. TO THOSE THAT SEEK THE STONE FOR BAD WILL BE REJECTED AND WILL NOT SEE THE STONE UNTIL THE END OF THEIR TIME.”

“I don’t understand, how is this giving me the answer that I seek?”

She laughed and said “only time will tell, until then be prepared…”

I let out a low growl and she slaps my cheek and said “DON’T YOU DARE GROWL AT ME YOUNG MAN!”

I looked down and touched my itchy cheek then suddenly the door opened and when I look toward the oracle she was no longer seated in front of me.

I just heard her voice that said “Stay on guard at all time.”

I walked out and looked around for Jakob only to find him where I left him.

“Did you find the answers you were looking for?”

“No, she just said some riddle that doesn’t even make since.”

“She never reviles anything until it happens, she said it’s against the rule and she can get punished for going against fate.”

“Great, not only don’t I know what this rouges want now I was just slap by an old blind lady and I am running late for my date.”

Jakob laughed “Relax knowing Sammie she’s probably still at the orphanage playing with the children or retirement home having tea with elders or playing bingo” he laughed again

“You seem to know her well!”

“She and I have been friends for quite a long time and that’s just one of the few things she loves to do to escape the Queen’s tea party or book sharing whatever they call it.”

I couldn’t help but love her more, she is just unique and people’s person. Now I am convinced that she will do well as the Luna Queen.
