Two things registered in my mind as I woke up with a start, my heart pounding as I listened to the activity going on around us. The first thing: we were getting attacked. The second thing: we forgot to lock the door. Almost instantly, Chris ran into the room, his eyes wide as he stared at us, before a slight shriek spilled from his lips as he turned around. Even from the back of him, I could see the blush since his ears were bright red and the back of his neck was starting to turn red as well. Lucie was a light sleeper. She was awake the moment he turned on the light. Without a word, both of us were up and getting dressed, a blush rising to Lucie’s cheeks as well at the realization she was discovered naked by her little brother. Well…he’s ten.
