My blood was boiling - and even that was an understatement. I could now understand why Ares hadn't reacted to the fact that I had walked into him, and now, his comment made much more sense to me. He had been aware of the fact that it would have only been a matter of time before someone realized that Dilara was missing, and what made it somewhat worse is that if she hadn't shown up outside of the door at the right time, I wouldn't have questioned anything. I would have spent a few hours waiting for her, and that would have been the end of it. Who knew how long it would have taken me before I realized that there was something seriously wrong? I believed that the source of my anger was mainly towards myself, because I knew that I would have been blindsided into thinking that there was not
