"Fine. Then let's do it and get it done with."
He turned to look at me, and I could see the shock on his features. Just as I had known that I was going to give in, it seemed like he had been well aware of the fact that I wasn't going to be doing it easily. That was likely why he seemed to be as shocked as he was, and I could do no more than to keep quiet and look at him, patiently waiting for him to say something that would serve as an explanation in terms of what he was thinking. I knew that he had to have thought about what would need to be done in order for me to figure out what my gift was, but he didn't really look like he knew much at the moment.
"Are you sure? I don't want you to feel like you're being forced."
"If you'd like me to, then I could always change my mind?"
