When we got back to my bedroom, I couldn’t help but feel like a piece of furniture that was out of place, like Hades and Athena were both assessing my room in a manner that suggested that I wasn’t there. Something that I did use as a slight consolation, was the fact that Ares was not here. I knew that it might not necessarily be a good sign, but not having him here to do the exact same thing as Athena and Hades did make me feel a bit better.
“It’s so strange.”
Athena had a deep frown on her features, which was something that was not a common occurrence.
