R U T H
I ran outside after Jay as fast as I could manage to, only to not find glimpse of him at all. He was no where around.
"f**k," I murmured.
"Guys, where's Jay?" I asked not caring how hastily I did.
"He just... left. I asked him to stop for desserts but he didn't respond. All okay, right?" Anna answered.
I put my hand into my hair, tucking them behind my ear something I often did in worry as I ran out, the only thing I could do.
But of course I bumped into the adults too.
"Ruth? Where to?" Mom stopped me.
"Not now mom!" I barely stopped to answer her as I ran out. Of course I felt guilty about it, but I could apologise to my later later. It was not important now.
What was important is that I had to find him. And I had to find him now. Before he gets too away.
