"I am in New York City!" Daisy whined through the other end of the phone, making me smile lightly under my breath.
"Exactly, Dais. You are in New York City! And yet you couldn't make it to my concert.." I feigned a betrayer voice.
"Hey! You don't get to put it that way!" I knew she was pouting. "It is not like you sent me the invites months ago. I came home to the VIP passes last night, and even then I really, really tried to shift schedules. They still didn't let me off the hook."
"It's alright, sweetheart." I tell her, "I'm just messing with you. But if you had managed your way here, the press would have had a field day."
"'Model girlfriend Daisy Wilson spotted at Zach Davis' concert'." She said in a heavy voice
