The sun was down and Alias wasn't nowhere near. Of course, I got nervous, but Naomi placed her hand on my shoulder to calm me down. I never met the Higher Ups, but I sure did fear them. They were in charge of the Vampire Community. Alias was kicked out of the Vampire Community, so he was trespassing their territory. Which is sad to me becasue his grandmother is apart of the Higher Ups. How could you turn on your own grandson is beyond me. That's why I stayed. I was definitely not going to give up on my man. Sighing, I paced the floor, back and forth, trying to calm my nerves.
"It's okay, honey." Naomi told me. "He'll be here."
"Will he? Why do I feel like the complete opposite."
I was feeling sick at that time and moment. My fear was overcoming me.
