Harper’s POV
The kids came in at lunchtime and the snow started to really come down in large flakes and very quickly. David turned the news on so we would know if flights would be canceled tomorrow because everyone was supposed to be leaving in the morning. So far there were delays but no cancellations. We watched the weather to see how much snow we should be expecting. The weatherman said about two to three inches so no one was very worried.
We all enjoyed a simple lunch of leftovers with some hot chocolate. When the kids were done eating they sat down at the windows that looked out at the backyard. They watched the snowfall for a while as they all warmed up. Daisy sat close by them panting and waiting to get attention.
