I hear Emily talking with Tyler as I stand in the kitchen wrapped in Caleb's arms.
I hear her saying, “I’m going to get my mom out of here. I just wanted to make sure they talked.”
“Ok,” Tyler said back.
I heard the front door open and close and I stayed right there holding onto Caleb. I care about nothing else right now but this. I have no idea how long we stood there for but when we finally started to let go of one another, I was a little stiff.
“Let’s go sit down,” Caleb said.
I nodded my head and said, “you have explaining to do later.”
“I will,” he said with a nod.
