Right before lunch, Emily and Beth showed up at the house. I was wondering if we would even see them today. I wonder how awkward this was going to be.
Beth and Emily greeted us. Beth went into the living room with everyone else while Emily stayed in the kitchen with Caleb and me. This was my opportunity to give her some crap.
"So how was last night?" I asked right away.
Caleb tried to stifle a laugh which made me smile. Emily glared at me which made me smile even more.
"It could have gone better. I’m assuming he told you," Emily said through gritted teeth.
"Kind of. So what went wrong?" I asked.
"What didn't? I fell backward off the bed and now I have a giant bump on my head that's sore as hell not to mention a few other things," she said wh
