After Celeb went back to work, Emily wouldn’t stop telling me how hot Caleb was. I already knew how hot he was and how hot I was for him. I ended the conversation and herded us into the living room to talk and meet one another. It was odd watching my mother and sister try to blend in with Caleb’s family. I sat and caught up with them despite any issues we still had.
My mother informed me that she had been clean for over a year but was still struggling. I figured she would be. She put herself through a lot but she’s the one that started using after Ann killed herself. I didn’t feel sorry for her, I just wanted her to do what was best and fix the issue without dragging me into it.
