Ami woke up with a start as the car bumped into a pothole, she noticed there were quite a few around here, potholes, bumps in the road and speed bumps as well.
She rubbed her eyes clear as she realized that the car was slowing down, “Are we here?” she asked to which Oya smiled and nodded at her.
Ami noticed there was a bit of sadness in her eyes even as she smiled to cover it up, Ami figured that Oya and Sango must have had a conversation which she missed while she was asleep.
Ami managed to smile back at her birth mother.
“You’re finally up sleepy head, you almost missed the whole thing, I mean I was afraid you’d miss the whole thing” Sango said teasing Ami.
“I don’t think I was asleep for that long” Ami said in a grumble and folded her hands across her chest before pouting.
