“You know, I really like to be left alone, I mean what does an almost forgotten god gotta do to have some peace and quiet” the Egyptian god Set said after he noticed Osoosi coming straight for him at the pub he chose to be at that very day. “Two things oh great god, one; I would never disturb your activities if the circumstances weren’t so dire as this is, and two; you are hardly almost forgotten neither are you known for wanting peace and quiet, chaos god Set” Osoosi replied, inwardly he was happy to have found him after days of tracking and bribing. “Smart mouth you’ve got there unknown god, besides, how did you find me? And what do you want?” Set asked already getting irritated. “I am Osoosi, a hunt and scout god where I’m from, tracking is in my skills set, and as for what I want, well that is one of your own skill set, to cause chaos in order to end chaos and bring order” Osoosi answered. Set broke out in a maniacal laughter, then he grabbed his left over drink from the counter and downed it in one gulp, after swallowing, his eyes flashed deep red and he smirked in an evil manner. “Come, let us find somewhere better to discuss, my work here is done” Set replied and as he finished his sentence, he slammed the glass in his hand on the counter and immediately chaos erupted in the pub. Bottles were smashed, tables broken, chairs flung and fists exchanged, suddenly everyone wanted to settle things with violence. As they left the pub behind, Osoosi took another look behind and sure enough there were flames already billowing in the pub, he marveled at the power of Set, at what just his presence had caused and he was sure he had approached the right god for what he needed done. “So what exactly do you need me for, because believe me I understand what you are going through right now” Set said to Osoosi after they had found a place to sit and discuss. Osoosi had then told him everything about his dark daughter and the circumstances surrounding her birth, the dark prophecy and why his obvious decision was to end her so the threat revolving around her existence would end. “Well if I know Oya well, which I do, she is already on the move to recruit other gods to her cause and as it stands, I am already a few steps behind her, I usually am, but this time I don’t want to race to get ahead of her, I want to race to beat her at her own game” Osoosi explained. He paused to see if Set was catching on and after he got a nod from him, he continued “So I was hoping to gather gods who believe in my approach of things and my views or at least who are willing to follow me even into battle if necessary”  “I need to be able to match up to her and beat her at whatever she is planning to do” Osoosi stated. “You know what? I’ll help you, with the recruitment especially too, I know of those we can recruit that is no questions asked, those that will definitely support your cause, oh our cause now uhn, so yeah, its been a while I’ve seen any major godly activity” Set said deviously. Osoosi had absolutely no bad bone in him, he is a god of justice as well after all, but his justice system is all him, he is judge, jury and executioner in his justice system which makes him sometimes make the wrong call, this time though, he was absolutely sure he was doing the right thing. *** The court of Osiris for lack of a better word looked gloomy, and it really suited his god of the underworld status but then Oya could definitely feel the difference in power compared to the Greek gods court. Not the difference in how much power they had but the difference in the kind of influence their powers had, Egyptian gods had immensely influential powers than the Greeks, but then the Greeks made up for it in position and their long term reign. There were about twenty gods present in total and the court really looked like a normal judicial court; at the judge stand was Osiris and Isis seated side by side, behind Osiris was Anubis and before him laid Amit. At the jury stand was Hathor, Ptah, Bastet, Ma’at, Shu, Nephthys, Sobek, Bes, Sekhmet, Neith and Tefnut while standing as the clerk was Thoth. Oya stood at the victim stand and Aphrodite along with a couple other Egyptian gods made up the audience. Oya had presented her case after a while of waiting, then after she had presented it still they were waiting, whoever or whatever for was what she didn’t know. Then in came flying Horus as a falcon then he transformed before approaching Osiris to whisper something to him. “We shall continue without Set for now, he hasn’t been found despite our best efforts” Osiris finally said then Horus took a seat as well with the jury. “After proper assessment and thorough gauging, we have found that your cause is just and since the Greek gods agree with you, we will agree with them, after they weigh the child we will do the same, for the sake of the world's future” Osiris announced much to Oya's relief. Although Oya could sense so much unease flowing about the court, not everyone was convinced she thought, much unlike the Greek gods who weren't so fazed by the issue. She felt it was going to take more to really convince them all, the opposite of it was that it wasn't going to take much at all to convince the doubtful ones otherwise and turn them against her cause, something she suspected was in play already. "What's wrong?" Aphrodite asked Oya as they moved away from Osiris' court. "I fear there might not be so much time as I initially thought we had" Oya answered. When she saw her companion was clueless as to what she meant, she continued "I had placed Osoosi in an unlikely trap, seeing so much doubt today indicated he is out and active, probably working against me as we speak" she said. Aphrodite just signed and placed a hand over Oya's shoulders, "there is time, so long as your daughter remains in Haven, then there is time, we have to just work well to get ready for when she'll be out is all" she said reassuringly to her friend. This role for her is not so new but at the same time she wasn't used to it, she was more used to playing the patroness of lovers, the love between two people who want to be couples, but here she was patron over the love of a mother to her child. Oya gave a weak smile back and steeled her resolve once more. "We have to be careful from now on though, Osoosi can be persistent and wild, he might spring a surprise on me at any time" Oya said. "Well I don't think It can be said to be a surprise anymore since you're expecting it already, typical warrior goddess" Aphrodite reply cunningly. Oya's smile this time was strong and full, "You know what? You are right and it is true that I am a warrior goddess" Oya said.
