Lucky took off like a shot. I jumped put of Rowan’s arms after him, I didn’t get very far before Rowan stopped me.
“Beloved, she asked for Lucky” he said gently.
“What?”
“Don’t give me the hornet face. When you first woke up, who did you want to see? Me or Scarlett? She loves you and so do I, give them some time.”
“I guess when you put it like that. I can’t wait to see her though” I pouted.
“You will, and when you do, we’ll all give you time alone with her before we all barge in. Besides, we should all get cleaned up before we see her.”
“A shower would be nice” I looked down at myself. I could only imagine what my face looked like.
“Showers for everyone!” Danny looked down at the glob of what was left of Evan before he headed inside.
“What is she like?”
