BETHANY NARROWED HER eyes and stared at the van emblazoned with a TG logo on its hood as it approached. Renn was driving. There was no one in the passenger seat. Renn stopped next to Bethany’s car, got out and sketched a wave then went to the rear doors and opened one. She stepped out of view behind it. Bethany waited, wondering. She scanned the road that lead back toward the factory. There was nothing to see but the dust trail hanging in the air the van had left behind.
