Paige’s POV
I need a moment to collect myself. They were making me nervous, and it would be handy to have something that I could hold onto. My throat is so dry right now. I didn’t know if it was my nerves, or because I was talking a lot. I just got off work, and it was hot in the laundry room. That was a factor too. I am so thirsty right now. I appreciated that they let me take a drink of the water before they started with their questions. I am glad that I have been here inside the pack the whole time, except for going to the bank. There is nothing that they can trip me up with. I relaxed and leaned back in my chair, waiting for them to begin.
