I don’t bother telling him I heard it in his tone, the way he told Vinnie that Raisa invited herself in Italian, thinking I can’t understand him. I know Spanish, or at least I understand it from all the telenovelas I used to watch and the course I took in high school. And Spanish kind of sounds like Italian. I know I’m right.
