An entire hour passed as Irene remained in a state of astonishment. As she sat in the chair, her mind began to wander while the skilled make-up artist worked diligently on her face. After being discharged from the hospital, she took an additional week to rest. The doctor suggested that she take a week off to rest.
The doctor piqued Irene’s interest. She not only insisted on becoming her friend, but she also went as far as giving her own cell phone number. Irene would always remember what the doctor said.
“Do not allow your fear to overpower both your present and your future.” The doctor’s advice to her came when she had departed from her room. It seemed as though she possessed some knowledge about her condition, despite the fact that they were complete strangers.
